Mid-City Smiles is excited to announce the newest member of our team, Marika Stavrides, RN.
Marika is a Registered Nurse from New Orleans with 12 years of nursing experience and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Our Lady of Holy Cross College. Marika spent her first 7 years of nursing saving lives in the ER and also worked as an ER travel nurse in Miami and Dallas.
Marika has always had an affinity for beauty and aesthetics. She loves being able to promote self-love and help others feel beautiful and confident in their own skin. Marika is an advanced injector with a perfectionist nature and a keen eye for details. She is truly passionate about her work and will take her time with you, going above and beyond to give you exactly what you want. Marika has completed many advanced trainings and has worked with and learned from some of the most talented practitioners throughout her career to bring you all the latest and greatest techniques and treatments available today in the aesthetic world. Marika continues to grow and enhance her education and skills as an injector, while also studying to obtain her Masters Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Although Marika still travels to Dallas on occasion to see patients, she has now officially moved back home, and we are so excited to have her here with us at Mid-City Smiles!
Over the last few months, Marika and Dr. Anderson have trained together and continue to add new aesthetic services to our newly expanded 2nd floor aesthetic suites. After working in 6 different emergency rooms across 3 states as well as 7 med spa locations throughout the DFW region, one of which is also a dental practice, Marika has accumulated a wealth of knowledge and skills that she can’t wait to showcase here in New Orleans.
